Before....It was just a guest room but after i became inspired to recreate my office; It became a goal on my vision board and then the creative "juices" started to flow. The process was therapeutic for me and with help from my fiancé surprising me and painting the room helped execute my vision. Creativity is such an artistic expression and allows you to step outside your box while being your unapologetic self... The transformation was cathartic and overwhelming with excitement. This is my calming, zen, meditative and peaceful space.
Although, it is not completed, this is the progress thus far..
After the room was painted, it became more of a blank canvas so Pinterest became my creative guide. I wanted the ambience to be calming but simplistic with an earth tone vibe. The process was easy because I went at my own pace and budget...lol It is imperative to have a plan even if it is just some ideas, start planning first to allow yourself to adequately get what you want and not something purchased on a knee-jerk reaction and also can save money.
We are all experiencing a new norm and sometimes things can get overwhelming. The primary goal of having a calming space is designating a private peaceful oasis for you to decompress and calm your thoughts. The process is therapeutic & cathartic but it was My Space and everything that curated peace and mindfulness for me became my inspiration. Within all of this chaos that is going on, you deserve a closet, garage, room, office, etc that Helps You find your inner peace and Woosa.....
